专辑介绍：作为2005年度“美国偶像”大赛的冠军，Carrie Underwood在美国的人气毋庸置疑。Carrie Underwood的第二张个人专辑《Carnival Ride》宣告面世。在美国上市第一周内，《Carnival Ride》已超过半白金（52万7千张）的单周销量成绩轻松获得了本周Billboard200专辑榜的冠军，比亚军高出了41万张。这张《Carnival Ride》是自2004年以来美国唱片市场上单周销量最高的乡村音乐专辑。

1983年3月10日，Carrie Underwood出生在美国Oklahoma州的小镇Checotah。从几岁大开始，自幼喜爱音乐Carrie Underwood就在家乡Checotah以及家乡附近的教堂的唱诗班中锻炼唱歌。13岁时，Carrie Underwood便录制了自己生平的首张唱片。在参加2005年度第四届美国偶像大赛的时候，Carrie Underwood还只是一名没有毕业的大学生，只是10万预赛选手中不为人知的一位普通的音乐爱好者。由于生性腼腆害羞，因此在参赛的时候，Carrie Underwood大多选择演唱的曲目都是一些乡村音乐歌曲。但凭借出色的唱功和优雅的台风，Carrie Underwood最终战胜了包括来自亚拉巴马的实力强劲的摇滚歌手Bo Bice在内的诸多强手而夺冠，成为美国偶像大赛创办之后，继2002年的Kelly Clarkson，2003年的Ruben Studdard和去年的Fantasia Barrino之后的第四任冠军。

夺冠后首张专辑Some Hearts获得了6白金的销量认证。其中的单曲有Inside Your Heaven, Jesus Take The Wheel, Don't Forget To Remember Me, Before He Cheats, Wasted都进了billboard前50。

Underwood还在各大乡村音乐大奖上横扫，另外还于2007年获得格莱美两项大奖Best New Artist和Best Female Country Vocal Performance,同时在2008年第50届格莱美大奖上将 Best Female Country Vocal Performance收入囊中.

第二张专辑Carnaval Ride 2007年10月份出版，顺利登上冠军宝座。第一支单曲"So Small"，其后的"All-American Girl"都登上了乡村单曲榜冠军。同期她还演唱了电影Enchanted的主题曲"Ever Ever After"。

2008年2月10日，第50届格莱美颁奖礼，凯丽·安德伍德(Carrie Underwood)凭借《Before He Cheats》获得最佳乡村音乐女歌手奖（Best Female Country Vocal Performance）。
